The first rays of sunlight filter into this bright, open kitchen, where the lighting strikes a balance between ambient comfort and functionality. The Circus Solo fixtures provide general illumination, casting their beams elegantly across the countertops while subtly highlighting a decorative element with delicate nuances of light.

Meanwhile, the ceiling-mounted Circus drops to another plane, gently defining a corner of the island that invites a leisurely breakfast, creating a space of intimacy and morning calm.

Clarity and flow

There’s nothing better than starting the workday in an environment that radiates clarity and exudes luminous comfort. A light for every task, every workstation, and every moment of the day. Ideally, it should be neutral and steady, without harshness, reserving the more atmospheric lighting for break areas or transitional spaces. Circus delivers this versatility, effectively illuminating workspaces with its directional beam, while also allowing play with indirect reflections by angling it towards ceiling or wall surfaces. Mounted on the suspended bar, it hovers above the workspace like a trapeze artist, bringing the light source precisely where it’s needed.

The Circus Solo can be used to highlight objects or corners with a touch more focus or intimacy, suspended from sleek cables that can be adjusted to the desired height.

In the above image, the Circus Solo fixtures wash the curved wall, highlighting the objects displayed on the shelves while acting as individual spotlights for the displays. At the same time, the Circus units installed on the suspended rail hover above the counter, bringing the light source closer to the worktop. By day, these spots stand out against the general ambient light; by night, they emerge in the shadows with a more dramatic accent.

Two lighting scenes within the same space transform the shopping experience into a sensory journey, where every corner breathes and every object takes centre stage, both day and night.

It’s at the end of the day, in the living room, where we “reconcile with the universe” and recharge our energy under the calm of softer light. This is when Circus truly unfolds its potential, composing scenes that evoke a subtle nod to nature.

On the more functional side —and, in the image, integrated into tracks—, the Circus fixtures project beams that wash walls, ceilings, and floors, shaping the atmosphere with delicate touches: from highlighting a painting to illuminating a reading corner by the sofa. During the day, these lights enhance interior clarity, complementing the natural light streaming through the windows. But it’s as night falls that Circus reveals its most poetic side, combining general and directional light with pieces such as the hanging luminous spheres that resemble moons or, when tuned to red, evoke the sunset, while circular reflector panels may suggest an eclipse.
