Vibia Presents: Iconic Outdoor Lights

Exterior lighting must sometimes draw attention to changes in level, architectural features or changes in surface for both practical and conceptual purposes. Brisa was designed by Lievore, Altherr, Molina for Vibia as an integral element of landscaped gardens, providing superior levels of illumination where needed.

The slender stalks with their drooping shades project a downwards beam of light. Grouped or standing alone the look recalls a luminous floral bouquet, carving out islands of light within nature.

Just like a painter might use colour, Antoni Arola & Enric Rodríguez convert lighting into a tool in the design of outdoor spaces with the Bamboo Floor lamp for Vibia. Likewise the name, its structure incorporates a series of light stubs as if they were truncated shoots from the eponymous plant.
