Home / The Edit News & Events Emma goes to Milan Emma is an interior designer based in London who makes a yearly pilgrimage to Milan for the Salone del Mobile and of course the Euroluce every second year, looking for inspiration and trends in the design world. It’s a frantic few days where a lot has to be packed into a very little time— this is her story! The Vibia stand is on Emma’s itinerary and there she meets Jordi, a Vibia sales agent that introduces her to internationally renowned designers like Arik Levy and Stefan Diez, has a look at the new sculptural and innovative lighting products launched there this year. Milan is a frenzy of events, exhibitions and openings during the Design Week. One of the activities that Emma was most looking forward to is the opening of the “In & Out” exhibition organized by BCD Barcelona that showcases emerging design talent from the Spanish center of trade and innovation, perfectly illustrated by the design highlights here. Emma also looks forward to her week in Milan to catch up with friends and explore the city’s cosmopolitan neighborhoods like Brera with its restaurants and bars. While there she visited Hi Lite Next, one of Milan’s most renowned lighting showrooms, to see the varied selection of Vibia and other novelties on display. Come with us and follow Emma’s trip to see how she got on in Milan.
