This yearly award celebrates the best achievements in project and product categories from around the world. FLAMINGO, designed by Antoni Arola, beautifully expresses the poetic and sculptural qualities of light. This deconstructed piece exemplifies the versatility of light. The separated light source and diffuser allows for a multitude of different lighting effects, whether indirect or task lighting. The source can be focused upwards or downwards projecting light onto the translucent thermoplastic shade, enhancing the feeling of weightlessness.
