From private residences to boutique hotels in Italy, Paris, London, NYC, and San Francisco, Cacciamani\u2019s projects explore the interplay of light and volume. Among his favorite design books are:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Architecture-Absurd-Genius-Disfigured-Practical\/dp\/1593720270\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Architecture of the Absurd<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>by John Silber, which casts a critical eye on some the most celebrated architects of all time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Bauhaus-Our-House-Tom-Wolfe\/dp\/0312429142\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bauhaus to Our House<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>by Tom Wolfe. She co-founded <a href=\"http:\/\/febrerostudio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Febrero Studio<\/a> with Osuna in 2016. Ballesteros\u2019 list of best design books include:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Architecture-Happiness-Alain-Botton\/dp\/0307277240\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Architecture of Happiness<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>by Alain de Botton. It examines iconic buildings with a fresh and innovative eye, exploring the psychology behind the architecture.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Invisible-Cities-Italo-Calvino\/dp\/0156453800\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Invisible Cities<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>by Italo Calvino is, says Ballesteros, \u201ca classic work of historical fiction featuring fascinating descriptions of imagined cities.
